Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer – Foot Patrol / Pool Monitor

Location: Chula Vista, CA 91911

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Hours: 30 Hours Per Week

MUST HAVE

• Valid California Guard Card
• CPR Certification
• At least 2 years of security experience preferred

Platinum Security, Inc. is seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a weekend position at a residential community in Chula Vista.

This is a single-officer post requiring a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Officers should be comfortable interacting with residents, monitoring community amenities, and conducting frequent foot patrols throughout the property.

Important: This Position Requires Extensive Walking

Applicants should be prepared for a highly active post involving continuous movement throughout the shift. Officers will spend the majority of their time on foot conducting patrols, monitoring common areas, checking amenities, and maintaining a visible security presence.

This is not a stationary position and is best suited for individuals who enjoy staying active and being engaged throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent foot patrols throughout the property
• Monitor pool and recreational areas
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Communicate effectively with residents, supervisors, and property management

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Previous security experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift
• Professional appearance and demeanor
