Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Fife, WA. The Electrician will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties, following all relevant codes and safety standards. Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting, executing maintenance and repair work, and completing new wiring and panel upgrades. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, using appropriate tools and testing equipment, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will interact with customers on-site, provide clear explanations of work, and collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electricity principles and practical Electrical Work skills, including installation and wiring.
- Experience with Maintenance & Repair of residential and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals or applied electrical design concepts is beneficial.
- Valid electrician license or certification in Washington State, or ability to obtain as required.
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation; strong attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina, ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces, and use hand and power tools safely.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial electrical work preferred; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
