The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Senior Manager of Property Management Assets, who manage Publix’s controlled and managed real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily real estate matters and exterior property duties for Publix-owned and controlled locations for routine and non-routine repairs
- Provide daily support to the Senior Manager of Property Management and the Regional Property Specialist – Assets in managing real estate and property management responsibilities for all Publix-controlled locations. Additionally, assist other team members with maintenance reports and other daily tasks as needed.
- Coordinating the training of existing associates on new processes, as well as onboarding and training schedules for new associates
- Maintaining the property management SharePoint page and the access provided to various business parties
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position.
- 2 years’ experience in a customer service field or
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative/office position
- ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time and within budget
- ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
- ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive, and productive working relationships with associates, managers, customers, and vendors
- ability to create an environment in which a positive and professional service orientation is evident to internal customers
- ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
- basic skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Associate’s degree in business or an analytical discipline
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance terminology
- Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology
- Knowledge of property management processes
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
