Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist, PRN to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients experiencing communication, cognitive, swallowing, and speech-related disorders. The Speech Pathologist, PRN will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing impairments. This Speech Pathologist, PRN role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
The Speech Pathologist, PRN works collaboratively with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans that support patient recovery and functional independence. The Speech Pathologist, PRN assesses patient needs, establishes therapy goals, implements evidence-based treatment strategies, and monitors progress throughout the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical findings.
- Provide speech therapy interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
- Assess and recommend communication devices, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology when appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
- Provide swallowing assessments and therapeutic interventions for dysphagia management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education and training.
- Advocate for patient needs and promote positive patient outcomes.

- Masters Speech Pathology
- Accredited Program Speech Pathology
Certifications:
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
