Quality Inspector - Receiving Inspection

Summary:

Under direct supervision, the Receiving Inspector will perform a variety of tasks related to the receiving products, quality inspection, documentation of products. This is a 3-6 month assignment on 1st shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per goods inward procedures
• Utilize dimensional inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers for receiving inspection.
• Practitioner level for Internal Flow Warehousing including creating kit and staging material.
• Pull sales orders and process associated quality documentation.
• Use ERP system for all tasks.
• Complete inventory / cycle counts.
• Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with receiving inspection using dimensional inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers as well as visual inspection.
• Able to efficiently use computer systems for tracking and documentation.
• Physically move materials throughout warehouse.
• Receive items and check them with purchase orders.
• Attention to detail.
• High School Diploma required.
• U.S. Person per ITAR requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Computer systems: 2 years (Required)
• Receiving inspection: 1 year (Required)
• Dimensional inspection using calipers: 2 years (Required)
