firstPRO is seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic initiatives within our Microsoft Platform Integration program. This role will oversee complex enterprise technology projects involving Microsoft platform migrations, consolidations, and integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and key deliverables.
  • Define project objectives, milestones, success metrics, and implementation strategies in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints while ensuring timely escalation when required.
  • Ensure project activities align with organizational goals, governance standards, and technology roadmaps.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliver business value.
  • Partner with developers, engineers, architects, technical leads, business teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, transparency, and effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project performance against schedules, budgets, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates, executive briefings, and governance reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive tracking of risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Lead project retrospectives and post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage project budgets and forecasts while maintaining financial accountability.
  • Optimize resource allocation across initiatives to balance workload, priorities, and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of internal teams, contractors, vendors, and technology resources.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of technology project management experience within enterprise IT, infrastructure, or software development environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, complex technology initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Experience integrating organizational change management strategies into project execution.
  • Hands-on experience leading Microsoft ecosystem initiatives, including:
  • Windows migration projects
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 consolidations
  • Microsoft tenant-to-tenant migrations
  • Cross-tenant application authentication and identity management
  • Network integration and configuration projects
  • Enterprise data migration initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Other relevant project management certifications

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
