Position: State Police Trooper: Serve Your Community, Grow in Specialty Units
The Michigan State Police (MSP) is actively searching for MCOLES licensed officers to become State Police Troopers. This role involves a variety of law enforcement assignments such as traffic patrol, investigations, and community service.
Successful candidates will initially attend the MSP Training Academy for approximately 12 weeks, followed by a mandatory 18-month probationary period upon assignment to their respective posts. Applicants must hold a high school diploma and have two years of law enforcement service.
