Police Officer - Off Duty Security

• Punctuality is essential; report to your assigned post in complete uniform.
• Deliver exceptional service with positive interactions; greet all visitors and maintain high standards of professionalism. Remember, Customer Service is everyone's responsibility!
• Be well-versed in emergency policies and procedures. React promptly to alarms or requests for assistance, assess situations, notify the relevant authorities, and provide support as necessary.
• Stay alert and vigilant regarding safety awareness.
• Understand your post orders and any updates; know your chain of command.
• Be prepared for responsibilities that may extend beyond the listed duties, as per client requests.

Qualifications:

• You must be a sworn law enforcement officer with arrest powers.
• Completion of an accredited police training academy is required.
• Adhere to regulations concerning secondary employment and submit requests at least five business days in advance.

Responsibilities: Provide security by adhering to post orders, develop relationships with clients, and collaborate with local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a high level of situational awareness and professionalism at all times.

• Manage entrance controls and direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
• Perform regular patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Escort personnel and materials as directed.
• Inspect against security and fire hazards.
• Accomplish special assignments as needed.
