Job Title:CDL B Delivery Route Driver

Summary:Responsible for delivering and servicing accounts by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for customer service and servicing accounts.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Keeps truck clean and organized.
• Fill out all related paperwork pertaining to Department of Transportation, Hazmat, and vehicle safety.
• Conducts daily vehicle inspection and related procedures.
• Loads the truck with products needed for daily route.
• Pulls load per the route sheets as needed.
• Responsible for safely transporting company products to and from customers place of business and warehouse.
• Checks invoices for accuracy and has customer sign.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Valid Commercial driver's license.
• Hazmat and tank preferred(Required to have ability to obtain).

Equipment:

• Hand trucks
• Pallet jacks
• Power lift gates
