School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Blue Diamond, Nevada

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of a master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). SLP-CFs may be considered, but candidates with CCCs are highly favored
• Active Nevada Department of Education certification
• Active Nevada SLP license
• Ability and commitment to work full-time on site; virtual and part-time roles are not available
• Flexibility to travel to one or more school sites as assignment varies
• Bilingual skills are highly valued

Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and implementing therapy for a varied caseload of students in K-12 settings (exact caseload and age range to be determined based on assignment)
• Collaborating closely with educators and support staff to develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining thorough, accurate records in compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
• Participating in IEP meetings and serving as a valuable resource to teachers and parents
• Adhering strictly to all district policies, professional standards, and confidentiality guidelines
