Senior Interior Design Project Manager | South Florida

We're conducting a confidential search for a Senior Interior Design Project Manager on behalf of one of the nation's largest and most respected real estate developers.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organization recognized for creating transformative mixed-use destinations and luxury developments that redefine urban living. The successful candidate will lead the interior design vision and execution across a portfolio of hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use projects from concept through completion.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Construction and partnering closely with executive development leadership, this individual will collaborate with world-renowned interior designers, architects, consultants, and vendors to deliver exceptional environments that elevate the tenant and guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the interior design strategy, vision, and standards across a portfolio of luxury hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use developments.
  • Direct the design of lobbies, amenities, public spaces, workplace environments, and retail experiences that enhance each project's identity and user experience.
  • Guide projects through every phase of design, documentation, procurement, FF&E, and construction implementation.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, consultant coordination, design reviews, and stakeholder approvals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead FF&E strategy, including material selection, furniture procurement, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with development, construction, leasing, marketing, and operations teams to deliver cohesive, market-leading environments.
  • Manage leading interior designers, architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams while driving accountability, collaboration, and design excellence.

Key Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, and/or office interior design.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
  • Proven leadership managing complex, high-end, large-scale projects and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Strong expertise in FF&E, procurement, vendor management, and project execution.
  • Excellent design management, communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
