Job Summary

Buffalo Homecare is seeking a motivated, organized, and results-driven Recruiter to join our growing team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates. This position plays a vital role in supporting our mission of providing exceptional home care services throughout Western New York by attracting and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities
  • Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media platforms, and company career pages
  • Attend local job fairs, community events, and hiring initiatives
  • Source candidates through databases, referrals, networking, and recruiting platforms
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone and virtual interviews
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the organization
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and applicant tracking systems
  • Manage offer negotiations and coordinate onboarding activities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Stay current on employment laws, labor market trends, and recruiting best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring regulations
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
