Experienced Painter: Indoor​/Outdoor Coatings & Training

Immediate opening for an experienced painter.

General Functions:

• 1. Performs inside and outside painting duties in a productive manner to include: preparing paint by mixing components accurately, preparing surfaces before painting, applying specified coatings of paint.
• 2. Utilizes standard paint equipment such as paint and airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes and other related equipment.
• 3. Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable application.
• 4. Prepares for painting by erecting scaffold and ladders properly.
• 5. Disposes of residual materials appropriately.
• 6. Assists with the training of apprentices.
• 7. Reports to management when the work is completed and/or if there are problems/discrepancies with the jobs.
• 8. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner.
• 9. Advises management of malfunctioning tools and equipment.
• 10. Answers customer inquiry regarding jobs as needed.
• 11. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
