Floral Warehouse Associate - Order Fulfillment and Production (1 Year Experience Preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6:00 - 2:30

As a member of the Specialty Market Floral Program team, this position takes part in receiving product, consumer bunch production, order fulfillment and quality control. This is a highly physical position and involves building pallets in a walk-in cooler. Other duties include re-bunching, sleeving, and packing of floral product. This position assists in general warehouse organization and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receive product shipped by truck and delivered by local vendors
• Organize cooler to facilitate efficient and accurate order fulfillment
• Ensure quality control, product maintenance and proper rotation
• Produce and pack retail ready consumer bunches and value added floral products
• Build pallets for customer orders per Mayesh specifications
• Help consolidate and ship floral product for local bouquet production
• Organize and distribute supplies including buckets, sleeves, shipping boxes, tags
• Assist with counting monthly inventory
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as needed

• Schedule availability 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• Flexible schedule (able to work to up 12 hours, if needed)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This position works in a warehouse setting

• This position involves frequent pushing and pulling
• This position works inside a cooler with temperatures ranging between 32 and 45 degrees
• This position routinely uses warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, heavy equipment
• This position requires the use of sharp tools such as knives and cutters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
