I wanted to share an exciting full-time opportunity for a Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6) with the Pathology Department in New York, NY.
Position Details:
Position: Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6)
Location: 1901 1st Ave, New York, NY 10029
Department: Pathology
Schedule: Full Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 35 hours/week
Salary: $140,689 annually
Requirements:
- Active NYS Histological Technician License required
- NYSED License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a NYS registered program OR Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Physical Sciences
- Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience, including at least 4 years in Anatomic Pathology
- Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing laboratory operations, program development, and regulatory/safety compliance in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
Areas of Oversight:
- Histology
- Cytopathology (future expansion)
- Gross Room
- Mortuary
