Equipment Operator/Welder

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator/Welder to join our team. We are a custom fabrication shop and have many projects going all the time. Our company takes pride in our work.

Pay depends on experience.

We work 4/10's Monday-Thursday (full time), which we all love!

Paid weekly - Fridays.

We ask that you have welding experience and are proficient in all aspects of your welding and fabrication skills as well as running the following machinery:

You must be able to run the following equipment:

• Piranaha
• Drill Press
• Bender
• Shearer
• Rolling machine

Qualifications:

Experience with MIG welding required.

Duties:

Weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum according to blue prints.

Inspect welded parts against blue prints.

Must perform all duties in accordance with OSHA and WISHA.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Communicate to Management about machinery and Quality issues as they arise.

Preheat and/or cut workpieces using a hand torch (plasma) when required.

WABO or AWS certified or be able to get certified (which the Company will pay).

Knowledge on OH Crane & Forklift is a must.

Ability to read and understand blue prints.

Ability to work on your own or in a team.

Proficient in shop math/problem solving skills.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., occasionally lift 50lbs.

Candidates must have their own tools and transportation.

Must have a current Drivers License.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
