Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: July 2026 – October 2026

Pay: $30-$32(hourly)

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM and 10:30 PM-7:00 AM (Both Days/night Shift is available)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterilization procedures
• Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly
• Support operating rooms and clinical departments by providing sterile products and instruments as needed
• Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with supply management activities
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and uninterrupted patient care

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years of Sterile Processing experience
• Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and interpret temperature gauges and sterilization indicators
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
