As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will join a multidisciplinary team within a 447-bed tertiary care and teaching facility, recognized as a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced NICU/PICU settings and are passionate about delivering advanced respiratory care to both neonatal and pediatric patients.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; shift scheduling details provided upon inquiry

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
  • Active certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS
  • Minimum of 2 years’ acute care hospital RRT experience
  • Experience specifically in NICU/PICU environments
  • Proficient with Meditech documentation system; prior use strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise using equipment such as High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience with Meditech (priority consideration)
  • Strong adaptability to change, critical thinking, and a collaborative, team-player mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care, including evaluation, treatment, and medication delivery for patients with complex respiratory needs
  • Operate cutting-edge respiratory technologies
  • Float as needed to regular adult floors, providing support for therapies such as nebulizer treatments, BIPAP, and CPT
  • Accurately document all care in Meditech
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure optimal patient outcomes
