Therapist Assistant: Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy- 7013

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

To decrease substance use, behavioral health symptoms, oppositional behaviors, and maintain at risk youth within their communities through involvement with pro-recovery peers and activities, outreach support, direct assistance and training in living skills and advocacy.

By:

• Providing youth with substance use issues and/or behavioral health issues and their family members intensive home based case management services and support;
• Monitoring return to use and other concerns;
• Assertively linking youth and families to services as needed to address educational, vocational, legal, health and basic needs;
• Promoting positive family relationships
• Engaging the youth in pro-recovery activities in the community;
