What Youll Bring:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, ideally within a school or special education setting
• Familiarity with supporting high-needs students, including those with developmental or behavioral challenges
• Ability to provide individualized care, maintain confidentiality, and exercise patience and empathy
• Strong communication skills for daily collaboration with other educators and team members
• Reliability and punctuality to uphold the daily schedule, including bus transportation support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a high-needs student throughout the school day (8:00 am - 3:30 pm), ensuring safety and engagement
• Ride the school bus with the student to and from the educational site, supervising and assisting as needed
• Collaborate with special education staff to implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and adapt activities appropriately
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and confidence
• Assist with classroom tasks, daily living skills, and behavioral management strategies
