• Examine test results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory devices.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when called upon.
• Diligently document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure the laboratory maintains a spotless and secure working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment duration.
