We are seeking an experienced, licensed mortgage professional to serve as a Senior Loan Officer Assistant supporting a high-producing Loan Officer and growing team.

This role is heavily focused on operations, client communication, pipeline management, and file organization. The ideal candidate will help ensure every loan moves efficiently from application to closing while providing a world-class experience for clients and referral partners.

This position is best suited for an experienced Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, Processor Assistant, or mortgage operations professional looking to join a fast-paced and growing team.

ResponsibilitiesPipeline Management

• Monitor active loan pipeline from application through closing
• Track loan milestones and deadlines
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact closing timelines
• Maintain accurate loan status updates

Loan Submission & File Management

• Review loan applications and documentation for completeness
• Submit files to processing and underwriting
• Gather and organize borrower documentation
• Manage underwriting conditions and follow-up requests
• Maintain organized and compliant loan files

Client & Partner Communication

• Provide regular updates to borrowers throughout the loan process
• Communicate with real estate agents, title companies, insurance agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and conditions
• Help ensure a smooth and positive client experience

CRM & Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate records and notes within CRM systems
• Manage client follow-up tasks and workflow automation
• Assist with database organization and lead tracking
• Support team reporting and administrative functions

Team Support

• Assist with maintaining internal processes and procedures
• Help keep team systems organized and efficient
• Support onboarding and training initiatives as the team grows
• Assist leadership with operational projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Mortgage industry experience preferred
• Experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, Processor Assistant, loan officer or similar mortgage operations role
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously
• Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills

• Encompass
• Mortgage CRM platforms
• Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loan products
