Line Cook (BOH Team Member)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourJob description:We are a locally owned restaurant, based in Asheville dedicated to great soul food and to knowing our guests and their preferences. • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Knowledge of food safety principals
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• And most importantly, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
