Forklift Operator (Sit Down)

Job Summary

The Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. This role supports receiving, shipping, inventory control, and general warehouse operations while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials and products.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Transport products to designated storage, staging, or shipping locations.
• Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, and order fulfillment activities.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and follow warehouse procedures.
• Stack, wrap, and secure pallets for storage and shipment.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8PM-4:30AM
• Pay Rate: $20/hr
• Location: Seabrook, TX 77586, USA
