At Continued Health Services, we believe that great care starts with compassionate people. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Position Overview
As a DSP, you will work in a foster home serving 3 consumers and provide daily support to individuals served by CHS. Your role will focus on promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring a safe and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Support bathing, grooming, hygiene, and dressing routines
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Administer and document medications according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Complete daily documentation, progress notes, and required records
- Encourage independence, social engagement, and skill development
- Assist with community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Provide transportation as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support networks
- Protect the privacy, dignity, and rights of all individuals served
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- HIPAA Training
- HIV/AIDS and Infection Control Training
- Zero Tolerance and Direct Care Core Competency Training
- Level 2 background check

Schedule
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Level 2 Background Check (Preferred)
