Job Title: Inpatient Clinical Supervisor
Reports To: Clinical Director
Location: Northpoint Washington (Adult inpatient in Edmonds, WA)
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-5pm
Compensation: $85,000-120,000/year

POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Clinical Supervisor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of patients. This person will provide clinical supervision to other staff seeking clinical endorsement, which will include both clinical consultation and administrative tasks. This person will review and sign-off on chart documentation, organize and provide clinical trainings (to include CEU approval and certificates), and will take the lead on maintaining and implementing a healthy and ethical clinical environment for clients and team members. This person will also fulfill perform Counselor duties and provide direct care to Northpoint patients. This person will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to patients and their family members. The Clinical Supervisor will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families
Ensure all persons providing counseling services are functioning within their competent parameters and maintaining education to do so
Audit charts for policy and procedure compliance, appropriate documentation and completion of all internal paperwork and documents
Assist and resource clinical team with needs for ongoing CEU requirements
Create and deliver clinical competency trainings as needed
Monitor and supervise incoming interns from various universities
Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care
Collaborate with assigned patients in the development of written treatment plans; include patient and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning
Monitor patients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions
Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner to assure comprehensive and quality patient care
Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers
Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times
Oversee and participate in the quality assurance and compliance activities of the facility
Provide clinical updates to utilization review and representatives of managed care to best coordinate reimbursement of treatment services
Coordinate with community based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post discharge
Case staffing and individual case supervision
Facilitate individual and group therapy
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care
Other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or other relevant field required
Must hold an active substance use and/or mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered
Must maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire, and for the entire duration of employment
Must hold an active substance abuse and mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered

3+ years of experience in relevant field required
Ability to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating patients assigned
Must hold strong personal boundaries and able to build rapport with patients
