Staff Accountant

Suplee, Shea, Cramer, and Miller, P.A. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
• Conduct tax research and planning
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations and laws
• Assist with tax returns
• Advise clients on tax-related issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting
• CPA certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for business entities
• Familiarity with accounting and business software, such as QuickBooks and MS Office
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
