Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Escorting clients to appointments or errands (when applicable)
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client condition
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Must pass Level 2 background check - https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia care
- Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care experience
