Position: Leasing Associate / Broker — Rebel Retail Advisors
About Rebel Retail Advisors
Rebel Retail Advisors (RRA) is a boutique retail real estate leasing and advisory firm based in Houston, working with landlords and developers across Texas on tenant representation, leasing strategy, and project advisory. Our portfolio spans mixed-use, lifestyle, and neighborhood retail projects — including Village Corner (Rice Village), Generation Village, Lake Walk – The Lumin (Bryan-College Station), Century Square, 417 Travis (Downtown Houston), and City Centre.
We move fast, work directly with decision-makers, and pride ourselves on sharp execution over bureaucracy.
The Role
We're adding a Leasing Associate/Broker who can hit the ground running — someone who already has relationships in the Houston/Texas retail brokerage and tenant community and can start generating activity in their first 90 days. This is not an entry-level or coordinator role. You'll own tenant outreach, prospect qualification, deal negotiation support, and LOI process management on a subset of our active listings, working directly with Lacee Jacobs (Founder & President) rather than through layers of management.
What
You'll Do
- Independently source and qualify tenant prospects for assigned listings, leveraging your existing broker and tenant‑rep relationships
- Run outreach campaigns and respond to inbound inquiries with market‑savvy, deal‑moving communication
- Support LOI drafting, redlines, and negotiation strategy on economics (base rent, percentage rent, CAM, exclusives)
- Manage your own pipeline in our deal tracker and provide regular, organized status updates to landlord clients
- Represent RRA at ICSC events, broker tours, and industry functions
- Collaborate with our AI‑assisted reporting and tracking systems (we use Claude‑based tools for activity reports and pipeline management — comfort with modern workflow tools is a plus, not a requirement)
Compensation
Commission‑forward structure with a competitive split, scaling with production. Open to discussing a modest draw for the right candidate with an immediately deployable pipeline. This role is built to reward people who bring deals, not just activity.
To Apply
Send your resume along with a brief note on your current relationships/pipeline and 2‑3 deals you've closed in the last 24 months to Texas license number appreciated but not required to apply.
- 2+ years of retail leasing or tenant representation experience in Texas (Houston market strongly preferred)
- An existing book of relationships — tenant reps, retail/restaurant operators, or landlord contacts — that you can activate immediately
- Active Texas real estate license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Track record of closed retail deals you can speak to specifically
- Strong written communication; comfortable owning client‑facing correspondence without heavy oversight
- Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and direct access to leadership, not someone who needs a large support structure
