Commercial Electrician – Madison, WI & Surrounding Areas
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial Electricians for immediate hire in Madison, WI and surrounding areas within approximately 1 hour drive time.
Join steady commercial projects with consistent full-time hours and the opportunity to work with established electrical contractors on long-term commercial installations.
PAY: (based upon experience)
HOURS: Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 7:00 AM
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3–6 month contract position
Commercial Electrician Job Description:
Commercial electricians will be performing new electrical installations on commercial job sites throughout the Madison, WI area and surrounding communities. Duties will include bending EMT conduit, pulling wire, terminating devices and panels, and assisting with various phases of commercial electrical construction projects.
Qualifications for Commercial Electrician:
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
- Experience bending pipe, pulling wire, and terminating
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Must have basic hand tools and basic PPE
- Must be able to safely use hand and power tools
- Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, crouching, twisting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites
