About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated bilingual Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. This role will report to our Medical Office Manager/Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do

• Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
• Clinical duties may include preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs—including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature—and document all information in the patient's chart
• Interview patients to obtain their medical history
• Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• One or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
• Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California
• High school diploma or GED

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

• Organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a daily basis at 1321 S. Rainbow Blvd., Ste 101, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
• Total compensation target pay range is $17 - $25 per hour. Salary range represents national target range; actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, and other job-related factors.
