Stock Representative

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Stock Representative at Aramark, you play a key role in ensuring that products are received, organized, and distributed efficiently and accurately. You'll support the overall warehouse operations including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • To participate, individuals must be 18 years of age or older
  • A high school diploma or GED is the desired qualification
  • Ideal candidates will have a background of at least two years in warehouse operations
  • Proficient abilities in reading, writing, and arithmetic are critical
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Capable of effectively delivering messages through both written and spoken communication
  • Competency in handling equipment with precise manual manipulation
  • Skill to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with regular lifting and carrying of loads up to 35 lbs
  • Depending on the location, individuals may be required to have a valid driver's license, with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check being a standard procedure

Physical Demands:

Responsibilities for this position could involve:

  • Extensive periods of walking and standing for an extended period of time
  • Repeatedly carrying out actions like lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • The wearing of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is compulsory as directed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accept, verify, and tag delivered goods; highlight any deviations identified between the received products and the invoiced items
  • Implement FIFO inventory management for perishables to enhance product rotation and minimize the chances of expiration
  • Undertake tasks requiring the operation or instruction in using manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
  • Gather and systematize items to meet orders for products, materials, and equipment
  • Transfer, deliver, and relocate goods within the warehouse area or to customer sites efficiently by utilizing carts or powered machinery
  • Carry out inventory audits as per the schedule
  • Accurately record essential information in various documents, such as inventory logs, temperature readings, spoilage records, and equipment inspection reports, utilizing either physical or digital formats
  • Look after the cleanliness and tidiness of warehouse sectors, such as bathrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and elevated platforms
  • Maintain adherence to safety procedures, comply with OSHA regulations, consult Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for guidance, and understand protocols for handling emergencies
  • Always use the right Personal Protective Gear (PPG) for your protection
  • Guarantee the security of both customer and organizational property
  • Establish professional communication with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors
  • Make sure to be at meetings and complete any other tasks allocated
