Working Foreman - Sod Installation

Okie Staffing is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead and support field crews on erosion control and sod installation projects across the Tulsa area. This is a hands-on leadership role —you will direct daily operations while working alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Projects include work with ODOT, Turnpike Authority, municipal, and commercial contractors , making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Pay Rate $25.00–$30.00/hour (DOE) + Overtime

Key Responsibilities

Lead and direct field crews daily while actively working alongside them

Manage daily production goals and job site priorities

Assign tasks and ensure efficient workflow on-site

Track employee hours and report daily production

Communicate professionally with contractors, inspectors, and supervisors

Ensure crews have proper tools, equipment, and PPE

Enforce safety standards and company policies

Identify and correct unsafe or inefficient work practices

Train, mentor, and coach new employees

Operate equipment such as skid steers, track loaders, front-end loaders, and brush hogs

Execute erosion control measures including # sodding, silt fence, mulching, #hydroseeding, and dike installations
