Contract Psychotherapist

Kansas City Counseling is seeking part-time or full-time contracted Psychotherapists interested in working with children to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Provide therapy to individuals, families, couples and groups

Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

Provide evidence-based treatment

Implement and review treatment plans

Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies

Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Masters degree or higher in mental health field

Current license as LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LPC or LCPC

Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields preferred

Familiarity with community mental health resources

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Ability to build strong rapport with clients

Ability to work independently

As a 1099 employee, you get to set your own hours/schedule. We provide furnished office space, EHR, client referrals and supervision for LMSWs. This is a 1099 contract position and does not include benefits, PTO, or tax witholding.
