Compensation: $20 - $29/hr, based on experience plus additional $4.50 shift and weekend differentials.
Schedule: Consistent, Three 12-hour shifts per week. Night shift: 6pm – 6am.

About You
You are an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient, are eager to continue enhancing your skill set, and truly want to make a difference.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years working as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant, preferably in emergency medicine.
- Experience in all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement.
- Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members.

While performing the duties of any of these positions, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit, talk, and listen; may be required to walk or stand for long periods of time; will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms. The employee is often required to lift and carry animals weighing fifty pounds or more; handle dogs weighing up to 150 pounds.
