Job Type: Part-Time Morning Schedule (In Person)

Pay: $13.00–$15.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 12:00pm
• 12 total hours per week

Impact You Will Have

As a front-line representative of GreenGuard, your work directly impacts cleanliness standards, safety, and overall presentation within a high-traffic retail setting. Your ability to take initiative, identify cleaning needs, and execute tasks efficiently will support both client satisfaction and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of sales floors, restrooms, break areas, and storage spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, including under fixtures and shelving
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and dispensers
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as counters, doors, and handles
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, display areas, and fixtures
• Conduct routine inspections to identify cleaning or maintenance needs
• Assist with light maintenance reporting (lighting, repairs, etc.)
• Restock paper products, soap, and supplies as needed
• Ensure all work is completed before business hours
• Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures
• Maintain organized work areas and uphold GreenGuard standards

Work Environment

• Retail setting
• Early morning shifts prior to store opening
• Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred (retail, commercial, or industrial)
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and commercial equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Reliable transportation required
