Position Overview:
Skinner and Son LLC is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support daily office operations. This role is essential in keeping our projects and client communication smooth. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and ready to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails/messages in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments, estimates, and job site visits
- Help update social media regularly
- Follow up with clients on open estimates, payments, and reviews
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Assist with material ordering, pickups, and tracking deliveries
- Support office staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Help ensure all required customer information is collected prior to scheduling
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient with computers, email, and scheduling software (experience with systems like Markate is a plus)
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
