Guest Teacher/Substitute

This flexible part‑time as needed position provides instruction to students by facilitating established lesson plans, managing the classroom effectively, and supervising students at all times.

Compensation

• $160.00 per day.
• $80.00 half day (up to 4 hours)
• $180.00 per day after 20 consecutive days in the same assignment

Minimum Requirements

• Valid IVP Arizona fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona teaching or Substitute Certificate.
• Proof of MMR immunization required unless born prior to January 1, 1957.
• A Bachelor’s degree in any area qualifies for a substitute certificate.

• College transcript.
• One recent (within five years) signed professional letter of reference.

Guest Teachers/Substitutes must attend an orientation during the school year.

FLSA:

Exempt.
