Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
• Oversee staff training on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of cleaning equipment.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with management to prioritize cleaning projects in high-traffic or sensitive areas such as guest rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and public spaces.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and leadership to promote teamwork and high performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping management, or commercial cleaning environments.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the cleaning or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, laundry operations, and janitorial practices.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures while maintaining high standards of quality control.
• Experience managing inventory supplies and maintaining detailed records of cleaning activities.
