Job Title: Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights to provide high-quality respiratory care services during overnight shifts. The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights will assess, treat, and care for patients experiencing breathing disorders, cardiopulmonary conditions, and respiratory complications. The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to deliver effective respiratory therapy interventions while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights is responsible for evaluating patient respiratory conditions, administering prescribed respiratory treatments, monitoring patient responses, and adjusting therapeutic interventions when necessary. The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights will operate respiratory therapy equipment, manage oxygen delivery systems, and support emergency respiratory procedures. This Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights position requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication abilities, and the capability to perform efficiently in fast-paced healthcare environments.
The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights works with neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations depending on operational needs. The Respiratory Therapist PRN - Nights plays an essential role in improving respiratory function, patient comfort, and overall clinical outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Assess patient respiratory status through clinical evaluation and diagnostic information.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders.
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, oxygen systems, and ventilators.
- Perform airway management procedures and respiratory interventions.
- Monitor patient responses to respiratory treatments and modify care plans as needed.
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during emergency respiratory situations.
- Provide mechanical ventilation support and respiratory monitoring.
- Administer aerosol medications and oxygen therapy treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and respiratory therapy records.
- Educate patients and family members regarding respiratory treatments and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding patient care planning.
- Follow infection prevention guidelines and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional education.
- Ensure respiratory equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Support overnight healthcare operations while maintaining high standards of care.
Education:

Experience:
