Samsung SDS America is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Human Resources Generalist to become one of the HR team members supporting our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to join our organization during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building processes, supporting employee issues, and creating an exceptional employee experience. You'll serve as the local HR presence at our Plano office, partnering closely with the existing Human Resource Team members.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations
Provide guidance on employee relations matters while ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices.
Coach managers on employee performance, engagement, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
HR Operations
Support employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and organizational changes.
Ensure accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity.
Coordinate benefits enrollment, leave administration, and employee documentation.
Support payroll processing via correspondence with Payroll Admin. for employee changes.
Talent & Organizational Support
Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Support hiring managers during periods of rapid organizational growth.
Coordinate new employee orientation and integration activities.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
HR Projects
Participate in HR initiatives that improve employee experience and operational excellence
Support HR programs, policies, and technology.
Support corporate relocation and organizational integration projects.
