Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Miramar, FL. This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Lab Assistant
Location: Miramar FL 33025
Pay Rate: $17.20 - $18.90/hr. on W2.
Shift: Multiple shifts available
Duration: 3+ months
- Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, label, and process specimens
- Prepare samples for testing, including centrifuging and aliquoting
- Perform basic laboratory maintenance and quality control tasks
- Maintain accurate records and resolve specimen-related issues
- Follow all safety, PPE, and biohazard procedures
- Operate laboratory equipment and computer systems
- Assist with specimen storage, retrieval, and work area decontamination
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a repetitive production environment
- Medical, laboratory, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish candidates strongly preferred
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts in a busy laboratory setting.
