Senior Staff Accountant

Vaco is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska!

Responsibilities include:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities through journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statement variances and communicated key drivers to management.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensured reliable financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
• Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
• Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of accounting experience (Required)
• Public Accounting or Public Company Experience (Highly Preferred)
• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Required)
• Ability to go on site 4 days a week
• Salary $80-90k plus bonus
