Step into a stable, supportive, and low-stress environment. Our beautiful 6-resident group home in Orlando is looking for compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) or CNAs to join our team. Because we only care for 6 residents in a residential setting, you will never have to rush through your shift. [1, 2, 3]We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time positions operating on 12-hour shifts only (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Days OR 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Nights).
JOB SUMMARY:Provide routine individualized care to the persons with disabilities in a small group home. The primary responsibility of the HHA is to provide medications and personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming the patient as scheduled. The areas of responsibility listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to successfully execute this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicine administration, and incontinence care.
- Assist with resident transfers and mobility safely (using assistive devices/wheelchairs as needed).
- Assist with light housekeeping, resident laundry, and preparing simple, healthy meals.
- Engage residents in daily activities, companionship, and routine exercises.
- Document daily logs clearly and report any changes in resident health or behavior.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or Higher Education
- Home Health Aide or CNA Certificate
Experience:
- 3+ years experience
- Prior experience with developmentally disabled individuals
Schedule:
Day Shift 7am-7pm; Night Shift 7pm - 7am;
- Full-time (3) 12hr shifts; Part-Time (2) 12hr shifts
- Sunday-Saturday available
- Must be able to work some holidays.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, associates, community, and state officials.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
