Fully Qualified Preschool Teacher (minimum 12 ECE units) wanted for Extended care 2:30pm-6pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fully Qualified Preschool Teacher with a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units to join our extended care team from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes early childhood development and learning. Your expertise will support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while ensuring a safe and positive classroom atmosphere. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Provide attentive care and classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children ages 2-6.
• Manage classroom activities, behavior management techniques, and lesson planning to promote active engagement and positive conduct

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, , and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddlers and children with special needs.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
• Familiarity with early intervention practices and behavior management strategies.
