Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on site role as a School Social Worker serving a school located in Redwood City, CA.
The School Social Worker (SW) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents), supporting students according to their IEP. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details
Full-time, 35 hours/week
2026-2027 School year, August - May/June.
LMFT/LCSW, preferably bilingual Spanish-speaking.
9 - 12 grades
Job Duties: evaluations, consultation, eligibility and diagnostics, student services
Guaranteed Hours, including documentation, administrative and planning time
On site, in-person
Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
Manageable caseloads
$55-$85/hour ($1925-$2975+/week)
