A Level or B Level Automotive Technician – Up to $85,000+ – No Weekends
Location: Valrico, FL or Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Salary + Performance Bonus Program
Pay Schedule: Biweekly
Earning Potential: $52,000 – $85,000+ Annually
Position Summary
Promotive is hiring experienced A Level and/ or B Level Automotive Technicians for a highly respected independent repair organization serving the Tampa and Valrico, Florida communities for more than 35 years.

Responsibilities
•
Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles
•
Perform advanced drivability, electrical, and mechanical diagnostics
•
Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using Tekmetric
•
Accurately document findings, repair recommendations, and completed repairs
•
Capture inspection photos and supporting documentation
•
Perform maintenance and repair work including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and engine performance repairs
•
Collaborate with service advisors to ensure excellent customer communication
•
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
•
Follow established repair procedures and quality control standards
Qualifications
•
A Level Technician: 10+ years of professional experience required
•
B Level Technician: 5+ years of professional experience required
•
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
•
Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
•
Excellent documentation and communication skills
•
ASE Certifications preferred
•
Dealership and independent shop backgrounds welcome
•
Valid Driver's License required
•
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
•
Honest, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

A-Level Technician: Starting at $1,250/week base salary (depending on experience)
•
B-Level Technician: Starting at $1,000+/week base salary (depending on experience)
