Strong Mobile Diesel LLC is expanding its coverage region and is currently seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, adjust, and repair diesel engines on tractors, trailers, and other heavy-duty equipment. This position is based out of Santee, CA, and requires travel to job sites within the greater San Diego area. We provide you with a late-model (2024 or newer) service vehicle, a cell phone, a company credit card, and uniforms; you will need to bring your hand tools.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly range of \(34.50/hr to \)75.00/hr depending on experience
- Performance-based bonuses/commission after a 90-day trial period
- Paid weekly (direct deposit)

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines
- Perform roadside repairs quickly and efficiently
- Communicate with dispatch accurate ETA times
- Communicate with billing accurate photos and job write-ups
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Provide labor and time estimates for repairs
Qualifications
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license
- Previous experience as a diesel technician or relevant education (Diesel Certification program, etc.)
Education Requirements
- Diesel Certification or equivalent experience in diesel mechanics
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related field
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a mobile diesel mechanic is preferred
- Previous experience working with motor clubs and/or fleet management is a plus
- Class A CDL is a bonus
