Huckberry is seeking an inspiring, results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our store-level sales team and cultivate a high-performance selling culture at our newest brick-and-mortar location in Hayes Valley. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue execution, deepen long-term client relationships, and execute the premium standards that define a Huckberry retail experience.
We're looking for a charismatic floor leader and storyteller who embodies the Huckberry spirit and excels at building community and customer loyalty. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Stores, you will own sales floor leadership, visual merchandising execution, and local community activations at the store level. You will focus on accelerating associate performance, driving core sales metrics, and acting as the floor-level voice of client demand back to HQ.
Responsibilities
Drive store-level sales performance and cultivate a high-performance selling culture to consistently exceed gross revenue targets
Run the store's clienteling system to drive repeat visits, increase units per transaction (UPT), and boost average order value (AOV)
Lead daily floor briefings that connect product knowledge, selling priorities, and client opportunities to daily business goals
Build and maintain an active client book with a consistent outreach cadence tied to new arrivals and events
Run a 30/60/90-day sales onboarding plan that accelerates associate ramp and establishes service standards
Deliver seasonal product knowledge training and maintain product story resources for hero categories
Design events and community activations against specific business objectives like client acquisition, retention, and brand storytelling
Execute floor visual merchandising so it reflects the brand's editorial point of view and is commercially powerful
Provide structured floor-level feedback on assortment gaps and client demand signals routed to HQ via the Senior Manager
Own the store's revenue-to-plan target, sales-side payroll spend, and store-level event and clienteling budgets
Direct store sales associates and floor leads, building a talent bench to support store growth
