Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry of La Jolla is looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to help lead the daily operations of our growing, patient-centered dental practice. We are looking to hire for this position immediately.

About the Role
The Dental Office Manager plays a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly. This position includes oversight of front office systems, scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, financial arrangements, collections, and team support.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, confident with dental systems, and comfortable helping both patients and team members navigate the day with clarity and kindness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front office operations and support smooth patient flow
- Manage scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and follow-up systems
- Support treatment coordination and patient financial conversations
- Monitor collections, accounts receivable, insurance aging, and outstanding claims
- Assist with PPO insurance workflows, including claims, EOBs, adjustments, and patient balances
- Help maintain strong communication between the clinical and administrative teams
- Support team organization, accountability, and office systems
- Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and through digital communication
- Help identify workflow improvements and support consistent implementation
- Coordinate with vendors and practice partners as needed
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-focused office culture
Required Experience
- Dental office management or strong dental front office leadership experience
- Proficiency with Dentrix
- Experience with PPO insurance, claims, EOBs, billing, and collections
- Strong understanding of dental scheduling, production, AR, and patient account management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead, support, and organize a team
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional, calm, and solutions-focused approach
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Dental Intelligence
- Weave
- CEREC
- iTero
- Invisalign
- Oral surgery coordination
- Restorative, cosmetic, implant, or comprehensive dentistry
- Spear training or familiarity with comprehensive treatment planning

Compensation
Pay is DOE and will be based on experience, skill set, and leadership background.
